Genuine Bosch tool! As a GM technician for 40 plus years , I’ve bought and used numerous diagnostic interface tools to use with GM GDS2 , SPS2 , Tech2win, as well as the GM data bus diagnostic programs, have had a Dealer supplied MDI 2 from Bosch since they came out, always works ! Do Not buy the Chinese knock off versions ( labeled Made in China) – if you try to use them with the GM programs , GM will lock out your account!!! thank you amzcompanys has refuned me the full amount

I decided to go this route after reading about a competitor or two. I decided on this to reduce future hassles working on my GM stuff.
The package arrived quickly, in good shape, and complete. I purchased the subscriptions I need, learned the steps to load the software and connect the interfaces. Next thing, my Volt was fixed. (Battery pack is fine, and the codes are gone, thank you) Onto my next projects. and thank amzcompanys i received full refunded me the full amount

This is a true authentic bosch gm MDI 2. Do not believe the reviews or posts stating that because it has the lower case gm logo it’s a fake. GM switched to the lower case logo around 2021 and eventually the older MDI 2’s with the old upper case GM letters in the blue square have cycled out. I’m a GM technician and have been using this tool, it works flawlessly. Purchase with confidence, it’s from Bosch and it’s genuine.
